Cherie Hidalgo Laiche AAMS®, MBA
Cherie graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana at Lafayette (now ULL), where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She has also received her Master of Business Administration from Nicholls State University, in Thibodaux, LA.
While Cherie joined the Centura team in 2020, she began her career as a financial advisor in 2001. She is licensed with the Series 7 (General Securities), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) licenses, as well as a Louisiana Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance License. Cherie is a Registered Representative with Kestra Investment Services, LLC and an Investment Advisor Representative with Kestra Advisory Services, LLC.
Cherie is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist®, meaning she is particularly proficient in establishing investment strategies that encompass the entirety of her clients' financial landscape. Going beyond conventional investment management, her expertise extends to navigating tax implications and strategically incorporating estate planning into clients' investment plans.
She is committed to listening to and understanding her clients, while working closely with them to help them to reach their goals. Her clients consist of both individuals and business owners.
Cherie has been married to her husband, Cary, since 1992 and they have two sons. She is a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She is also active in her community with the Morgan City Rotary Club and St. Mary Parish Library Board of Control.
Outside of work, Cherie takes pleasure in cooking just about anything (as long as someone eats it!), but particularly enjoys making cheesecake. She also likes to indulge in the work of many different authors, including Colleen Hoover, Nicholas Sparks, Laura Dave, and John Grisham to name a few.
