Todd graduated from Louisiana State University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Todd began his career at a local CPA firm, working his way up to 'Partner.' He then went on to open his own accounting firm, Apple Guerin Company, LLC, where he still serves as Partner today. In 2001, Todd founded EA Financial with Thomas Besselman, Jr., which became Centura Advisors, LLC in 2005.

Todd obtained his CPA license in 1986. Since, he has earned his Series 7 (General Securities), Series 24 (General Securities Principal), and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) securities licenses. Todd is a Registered Representative with Kestra Investment Services, LLC and an Investment Advisor Representative with Kestra Advisory Services, LLC. He also holds Life and Health Insurance licenses in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. 

With more than three decades of experience, Todd has dedicated his professional life to helping clients achieve financial success, whether through tax preparation, business consulting, investment management, or wealth advising. As a business owner himself, Todd is passionate about helping small to medium-sized businesses succeed. He has extensive experience working with dental and medical professionals in particular.

In addition, he is a member of Centura's Investment Committee, where he plays an integral role in establishing the firm's investment strategies and models by staying up to date with the ever-evolving market and economic trends. 

Todd is an active member of several professional organizations including the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Section, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana CPA Society and the Academy of Dental CPAs. He is also a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church.

Todd and his wife, Julie, have been married since 1990 and together, they have two children. When Todd is away from his desk (although rare!), he enjoys golfing, tennis, and leisurely travel.
