Matt graduated from LSU in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences. While in college, he worked at The Chapel on the Campus as a youth ministry intern. He became the high school youth director upon graduation, and remained in that capacity until he joined Centura Advisors in 2004.

He is licensed with the Series 7, Series 66, and a Louisiana Life and Health Insurance license. Matt is a Registered Representative with Kestra Investment Services, LLC and an Investment Advisor Representative with Kestra Advisory Services, LLC. He has also held his Louisiana Mortgage Originator License since 2005.

Matt’s primary focus is working with his clients to help them develop a financial roadmap that includes all aspects of their financial matters. It is through his diligence and focus that he is able to connect with his clients, helping them achieve their goals and build lasting relationships with them.

Matt is a servant at heart and volunteerism is very important to him. He is a Deacon at The Chapel on the Campus and serves on its CARE team, which helps families and individuals who are going through a challenging time in life. He is the vice-president of the Board of Directors for MCWA and serves as a board member and Treasurer for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

He has been married to his wife, Julie, since 2002 and they have three boys who attend Catholic High and U-High. He loves spending time with his family and watching his boys in their athletic and extra-curricular activities. Along with taking family trips, Matt enjoys playing golf, hunting, fishing and cooking on his Big Green Egg.
