John M. Lensing
John graduated from Christian Brothers University, in Memphis, TN. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and economics. He began his career with a firm in Memphis, handling qualified retirement plans. John joined Centura Advisors in 2012, broadening his expertise to better serve his clients. He has Series 7 (General Securities) and 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) licenses, as well as a Louisiana Life and Health Insurance license. Along with those designations, he possesses the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor credential (CPFA) offered by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). John also completed the CPA exam and is currently working towards his CPA license. John is a Registered Representative with Kestra Investment Services, LLC and an Investment Advisor Representative with Kestra Advisory Services, LLC.
He specializes in qualified retirement plans, including 401, 403, and 457 plans. He also handles portfolio management alongside the firm’s investment committee. John takes a personal approach to working with his clients to be able to design a plan better suited to their needs.
John and his wife, Heather, have been married for three years and are members of St. George Parish Church. Along with spending time with his family, he enjoys playing golf and breaking clay at the local skeet range. John is still active with his alma mater, serving on the Christian Brothers University National Alumni Board.
